You can now fax from Windows software directly to MightyFax, which will result in a cheaper, faster and easier way to send and receive your documents. To do this, first you must download and install into your computer, a free fax program. You can download various free fax programs; choose one which is compatible with Windows. Next, you need to download an online fax provider.
You then use your new software as described in the above step, to send a document that needs to be sent to one of the numbers for which you have an account. In order to receive faxes from windows software you have to install a card reader onto the phone line that you wish to use for faxing. With a good microsoft word application, you can easily insert your credit/debit card. This provides your telephone line with a virtual credit card reader to enable you to send/receive faxes online.
When you receive a fax you do not need to pick it up because it is automatically sent to your inbox. With a good internet connection you can also check your email. Finally, if you are on hold then you can click on the "cell phone" icon on the far right of your software and it will connect to a free Internet phone service. From there, your message is immediately delivered to whoever you have put it to and it is there ready for you to view, sign and print out. This solution is similar to the ones MightyFax offers to their subscribers who use Microsoft word.
